School Supplies Drive
School supplies to carry students through the second half of the academic year
In Jamaica, West Indies, there is no free public education. Families have to pay school fees, uniform fees, the cost of school supplies, transportation costs and fees for testing in order to support their children attending school. As you can imagine, this can get costly, especially in a developing nation that is struggling to recover from the financial crisis created due to COVID-19 layoffs and business closures.
There are several ways that YOU can be a support to contribute to the educational pursuit of students in Jamaica, West Indies. Here are a few:
-Donate a gently used electronic device
-Make a monetary donation
-Donate some school supplies (i.e. pens, pencils, notebooks, notebook paper, construction paper, scissors, erasers, thumb drives, composition books, etc)
To donate a gently used electronic device, please be sure to clear any of your information off of the device. Email me at firstname.lastname@example.org to let me know that you would like to make a donation.
